Hardesty Adds Pat Morrissey as new Partner and Consulting Practice Leader
IRVINE, CA, February 1, 2017 — National Executive Services firm Hardesty, LLC has named Pat Morrissey, former President of Morrissey Consulting, LLC of San Clemente, California as Partner – National Consulting Practice Leader of the firm’s concurrently launched consulting practice. This new Hardesty practice will extend Morrissey’s current offerings to provide strategic planning, program management and business process improvement services to clients, adding new capabilities to Hardesty’s network of experienced financial professionals. Pat will be based in Hardesty’s headquarters in Irvine, California.

Prior to merging his firm into Hardesty, Pat founded and ran an independent consulting company focused on helping organizations evaluate, optimize and deliver the financial value behind their strategic initiatives. Clients included retail, manufacturing, technology and financial services companies. Pat’s firm completed over a dozen unique executive level projects for one large insurance company client over a six-year period.
Pat started his career with Coopers & Lybrand rising to the rank of Senior Manager while providing professional auditing services primarily to technology, financial services and manufacturing companies. Pat was assigned to the firm’s National office in New York where he led their national audit technology program and served on the global integration team during the merger with Price Waterhouse.
 
After leaving PwC, Pat joined Microsoft, building a project office and managing large-scale, high-profile, enterprise-level projects supporting worldwide programs. Subsequently, he spent nearly a decade at Pacific Life, a leading financial services company, where he served as Assistant Vice President of the Strategic Planning and Program Management Office (PMO) responsible for product management as well as creating, aligning and driving overall business strategies with practical and innovative business and technical solutions.
 
Pat is an active CPA with a BA in Business Administration, Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. He was also an International Programs Business and Economics Honor Student at the University of Bradford, England. He is a certified Program and Project Management Professional (PgMP and PMP); and has earned designations in Leadership, Project Management, and Strategic Decision & Risk Management through executive programs at Stanford University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
