Phil Oseas is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Hardesty. Phil has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience in a variety of industries including consumer products, manufacturing, entertainment, oil & gas, medical device and education. Phil gained this experience serving diverse roles in both private industry and public accounting. Phil has advised companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early stage pre-revenue venture backed startups.
Phil’s private industry experience includes serving as CFO in the consumer products, oil & gas and education industries. His CFO experience includes responsibility for information technology, risk management and human resources. Phil’s public accounting experience includes providing buy-side and sell-side financial and accounting due diligence for Ernst & Young in their Transaction Advisory Services practice advising both financial and strategic clients. In addition to that, Phil served in Ernst & Young’s restructuring and reorganization practice advising financially distressed companies. He started his career at Ernst & Young in their audit practice serving clients in the entertainment and consumer products industries.
Phil is a CPA (inactive) and earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Psychology from The University of California, Los Angeles.
