Scott Patterson is a Partner in the Orange County office of Hardesty, LLC. Scott has nearly 20 years of diversified leadership roles as CFO, VP Controller, and Corporate Controller. In these roles, Scott has managed accounting and finance teams within entrepreneurial environments, publicly traded entities, and private equity-sponsored middle market companies with revenues in excess of $400M. Scott has advised these organizations through complex business, acquisition, and financing transactions in high growth settings.

Scott has extensively collaborated with other departments, linking finance with operations & IT to increase productivity, create efficiency, and improve bottom-line results. In addition, he has significant experience partnering with M&A and operation teams for the successful integration of acquired and denovo business units, and has effectively built proficient accounting teams to support rapid growth.

Scott’s management career began as a CPA Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLC. At Deloitte, Scott spent nearly 9 years providing professional auditing services to manufacturing, distribution, service and healthcare organizations, representing closely held private entities to complex corporations in excess of $1 billion in revenues. Scott earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration, Accounting from Portland State University.
