Daniel “Spencer” Venegas serves as Hardesty LLC’s Senior Research Analyst, empowering the firm to continually provide the highest caliber talent and services through the provision of insight, research and analysis of data and trends. He also works tirelessly to enhance Hardesty’s culture of doing the right thing, acting as connectors, getting it done and perhaps most importantly passing the “have a beer” test.

Prior to formally joining Hardesty LLC, Spencer was deployed to Lendistry helping to provide $3 Billion in pandemic triage funding to small businesses via the PA Cares and CA Relief Grants. Beginning as an underwriter, Spencer was quickly promoted to a managerial position adding a focus towards program integrity, stakeholder service and fraud detection/prevention.

Spencer began his career marketing supplemental benefits to Californians for AFLAC, the American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus, an experience that ultimately led to service in comprehensive wealth advisory for Capstone Partners Financial & Insurance Services.

Spencer holds a Bachelor of Arts, Psychology degree from Dartmouth College, and throwing heat as a pitcher, he was part of their Ivy League Championship winning Baseball team. Spencer continues to give back to his alma mater, his high school Mater Dei, and advocates for his community locally through the Dartmouth College Admissions Ambassador Program where he annually interviews applicants for the Dartmouth Admissions Office. He also supports the Orangewood Foundation via fundraising efforts and mentorship programs.
