Hardesty Adds Amanda Clauss as Managing Director Leading Aerospace and Defense Practice

IRVINE, Calif., April 1, 2016 — National Executive Services firm Hardesty, LLC has named Amanda Clauss, former Vice President of Boyle Ogata Bregman Executive Search of Irvine, California (BOB Search) as Managing Director and Practice Leader in its Aerospace and Defense Practice. The practice will provide executive search, interim placement, and advisory services to both local and national aerospace and defense companies. Clauss will be based in Hardesty’s headquarters in Irvine, California and their Los Angeles offices.

She has built a vast network in the aerospace, defense and high-tech manufacturing industries placing Director, VP, and C-level roles across multiple functions. Amanda’s focus has included aerospace, defense, national and homeland security, and industrial / high-tech manufacturing. She has proven skills handling multiple priorities, establishing productive relationship-driven networks, and delivering impactful results to her clients.
 
Amanda is the current Vice President and Founder of the Los Angeles Chapter of the nationally recognized association of Women In Defense (WID-GLAC).  WID is a national security organization affiliated with NDIA, which cultivates and supports the advancement and recognition of women in all aspects of national security. Amanda also sits on several committees focused on helping female executives by providing professional development, connections and mentorship.
 
Clauss earned a B.A. in Communications with honors from California State University, Monterey Bay. She also holds an M.B.A from Argosy University. She resides in Long Beach, California.
