Prior to joining the firm in September 2011, Van spent over 30 years in the technology industry, serving as CFO for public companies as well as private equity and venture backed companies. In his CFO roles, Van focused on executing strategic growth initiatives — mainly acquisitions, new products and geographic expansion. While CFO at Wyle Electronics, Van helped transform the company to focus on semiconductors and computer products and grew that business to $1.5B in revenues leading to a successful sale of the company. Van also served as CFO at Cherokee International, a privately-held telecom manufacturer owned by Oaktree Capital, where he led its IPO in 2004. As CFO at Telmar Network Technologies, also private equity owned, he executed five acquisitions over a two-year period.
Most recently, Mr. Holland served as CFO at venture-backed Luxtera, a semiconductor start-up specializing in emerging silicon photonics technologies. Van began his career at Arthur Andersen in Los Angeles.
