Andrew Katcher is a partner in the Northern California practice of Hardesty, LLC. He is an accomplished Senior Executive, Entrepreneur, Consultant, Thought Leader, and Board Member with 25 years of success across the manufacturing, information technology and services, consumer electronics, and computer networking industries. Leveraging extensive experience developing and implementing effective operational and financial strategies for companies with a global scope, he is a valuable asset for technology-driven companies looking to expand or develop strategic partnerships internationally. His broad areas of expertise include finance, supply chain management, business process improvement, fundraising, international trade compliance, audit, team building, cross-functional leadership, and strategic planning. Throughout his executive career, Andrew has held leadership positions at technology-driven companies such as 3Com Corporation, FreeFlow, and Rapid Results, Inc., which he founded and where he currently serves as President and CEO.
He has been responsible for overseeing a major acquisition and integration for an international computer networking organization, including growing the new division from first product sale to $60M/year within 18 months; redesigning the importation and compliance process for a major solar energy equipment supplier to achieve $25M in cost savings; and overseeing business development efforts for the world leader in consumer electronics disposal services, including leading the set-up and management of a new Vietnam-based joint venture. Most recently, he was interim CFO for a Software Defined Networking venture-backed start-up where he created a multi-year operating and financial plan, implemented GAAP accounting, and obtained a $5 million line of credit. His consulting clients have included industry leaders such as Amazon, Oculus (a FaceBook company), SanDisk, Logitech, Core-Mark, and Cisco. Andrew holds a BS in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Planning and Organizational Behavior from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He currently serves as Board President and Audit Committee Chair for Hillel of Silicon Valley, is active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and is a mentor for the Miller School of Social Entrepreneurism
at Santa Clara University.
